Responsibilities:
- Design and execute battery testing protocols for lead-acid and lithium-ion systems
- Operate and maintain testing equipment including environmental chambers and battery cyclers
- Collect, analyze, and report test data according to ISO/IEC 17025 standards
- Collaborate with OEM clients to develop custom test plans
- Ensure quality control and compliance with laboratory procedures
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in battery testing or laboratory environment
- Knowledge of battery chemistries and testing standards (SAE, IEC, ISO)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Laboratory Technician
Full-Time | Redford, MI
Responsibilities:
- Assist engineers in conducting battery tests and experiments
- Prepare test samples and maintain laboratory equipment
- Document test procedures and results accurately
- Maintain laboratory safety standards and cleanliness
- Support data collection and basic analysis
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent experience
- Experience in laboratory or technical environment preferred
- Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
- Ability to follow detailed procedures and protocols
- Strong organizational and communication skills

Program Overview
Our internship program offers 12-week paid opportunities for engineering students. Interns work alongside experienced engineers and technicians, gaining hands-on experience in battery testing methodologies, laboratory operations, and quality assurance processes. The program includes structured learning objectives, mentorship opportunities, and exposure to real-world testing projects for automotive OEMs.
